The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge and the Río Frío are humid biological areas considered one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. Here you can find a great variety of resident and migratory birds as well as three different species of monkeys, also iguanas, sloths, turtles and caimans. You will start your adventure in the town of Los Chiles just 4 kms from the border with Nicaragua, there you will start a four hour floating safari through the Tropical Rainforest and pastures until we reach the marsh. And an experienced English-Spanish speaking guide leads the tour.
This tour Includes: A/C Transportation, bilingual Tour Guide, floating tour, lunch and entrance to “Las Pumas” rescue center.
What to wear: Shorts, T-shirt, Tennis shoes.
What to bring: Sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellent, and camera.
